Personalized
physical therapy
for lasting results.
At Stoneking, we pride ourselves on our unique one on one approach to patient care. The physical therapist who directs your care remains with you from beginning to end.
Members of the APTA

There is no “bouncing around” from physical therapist to physical therapist. Not only does this approach facilitate better continuity of care, but it builds better rapport and trust with the patient.

Trusted physical therapy care,
focused on you

Personalized Care
We believe that it is more important to have personalized one on one therapy with the primary care provider. It is not about numbers with Stoneking, it is about impacting the lives of our patients in a meaningful way.

Unhurried visits
Our providers spend more time building an understanding of your health. Your time with us is less rushed, so we are more focused on positive outcomes, and less on the bottom line.
Our Services
No Prescription or Referral Needed for Physical Therapy
Did you know that you don’t need to get a prescription or a referral from your physician for PT? We want to bring freedom of choice back into physical therapy. Even if your doctor said to see their in-house physical therapists. Just know that you have the freedom to go where you want to for care.
A physician referral (such as from a family doctor, specialist, or primary care physician) is not a requirement. With the exception of HMO health plans, most insurers embrace the concept of direct access to patients by physical therapists. However, this does not replace your current medical team. This is because we communicate with them through regular evaluation and progress reports.

What to expect
Initial assessment
We acquire a thorough medical history at a patient’s first visit. We then conduct a complete physical exam before providing any treatment.
Goal setting
Our therapists will discuss the patient’s goals during the initial visit.
Personalized treatment
We apply a variety of techniques, such as soft tissue work, hands-on methods, and therapeutic exercises. Care may also include cold, heat, electrical stimulation and ultrasound.
Progress tracking
Each patient is reevaluated by a therapist on a continuous basis. The number of visits each patient needs varies greatly.
